The princess was a masterful weaver of sky tapestries and was very loved by her father. When the emperor learned of the marriage he became infuriated and sent the royal guards to retrieve the princess. The ox herder refused to accept the emperor's decision and with the help of the ox he followed his wife to heaven. The emperor was moved by the herder's actions and decreed the lovers could reunite once a year on the seventh day of the seventh month.
This couple's keychain was inspired by one of China’s most popular stories.
